Thanks to Triple J's hottest 100 (annual Australian music countdown), I fell in love with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. My favourite being Same Love (#15). alt-J is a recent favourite and Breezeblocks (#3) has been on repeat. A friend introduced me to Rachael Yamagata and I have been you-tubing her videos since. Try Even if I don't. Lastly I have been a big fan of local band The Griswolds ever since they won the Unearthed competition. Check out The Courtship of Summer Preasley - it's one my favourites.
Happy Mid-week!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis was stuck in my head - for the whole week I was just playing the "wut wut, wut, wut wut" line from Thrift Shop in my head ahahaha. Rachael Yamagata is my friend's favourite too - she deserves to be better known.

Thanks for sharing. I can imagine listening to these tunes inside a train as I block out the rest of the world and be lost in the music.
